Find your measuring path
Choose the mount style, record the window dimensions, and review the values before opening the Roman shade collection.
Mount style
Where will the shade sit?
Choose the intended mount. Confirm the exact product's depth and clearance requirements before ordering.
Inside mount sits within the opening. Outside mount covers the opening and mounts to the surrounding surface.
Width
Record the window width.
Use a metal tape. Measure at the positions required by the exact product instructions and keep every raw measurement.
Do not apply your own deduction unless the selected product instructions explicitly tell you to do so.
Height
Record the window height.
Measure the full intended coverage at the positions required for the selected mount and product.
Check for handles, trim, tile, or other obstacles that may affect the mounting surface or travel path.
Review
Check the values before ordering.
