For a bedroom, choose the lining for the privacy and darkness you need; a pale fabric color alone does not provide blackout or dependable night-time privacy.

What affects light control and the price?

Unlined fabric lets more daylight through and may show silhouettes when the room is lit at night. Privacy or blackout lining provides stronger coverage. Blackout lining reduces light through the fabric; perimeter gaps can still admit light. Which dimensions should I record?

For an inside mount, record the unreduced window-opening width at the top, middle and bottom, the height at the left, center and right, and the clear recess depth. Keep all six measurements. For an outside mount, record the full width you want covered and the drop from the planned mounting position.

For an inside-mount order, enter the exact window-opening measurements without subtracting a fitting allowance; the factory applies the required deduction. For an outside mount, use the planned coverage width and drop. Keep the opening size separate from the finished shade size and do not deduct twice.
